I know, but there are some differences between May's popularity and Dawn's, mainly Piplup. I also remember that interview, but they could easily change their minds if they wanted to. I don't see that as that likely and I still hope that she leaves, but I wouldn't count the idea of her staying for another generation completely out of the question. Unless there is another side-quest in the new games, Contests will most likely stick around.

I have to say that was pretty funny. Kenny as a re-occuring rival was a bad choice, considering that he feels so incredibly bland to me.

Kanto is ovetrated. What abouut Ash's Orange Island League? They actually won a competition instead of losing like the Cubs.
