Cartoon characters coming to life? Scientists say, 'maybe'.
Scientists have perfected the technology to bring cartoon characters
into the real world.
'We are all very excited', beamed team leader Olaf Riplos, 34. When
asked how the idea for the device, entitled 'The Animatransposer', came
about, Riplos sheepishly admitted, 'I went to see Who Framed Roger
Rabbit when I was a boy and, like a lot of men, I fell for Jessica
Rabbit. She was only a creation of ink and paint, but the wheels in my
head started turning: what if you could bring cartoon characters to life
in reality?'
Riplos believes that the device may be available to the public as early
as January of next year.
"Surely, I'm not the only person who's seen an animated character and
wondered, 'what if?'."
