The final daily strip: Orson looks in the newspaper, sees he's not in it, and disappears. Now that's freaky, but it's not the real end. Due to the fact that Sundays and dailies are produced on separate schedules, there were still four more Sunday U.S. Acres strips to go....

Ready for the absolute final strip? It didn't disappoint, at least in sentimentality.

What a perfect "full-circle" ending: Orson, Booker and Sheldon watching their own cartoon show. You couldn't ask for a better final strip than that. *sniff* I'm gonna tear up....
